Please share any trail updates in the Comment section below
Elevation Stats: 800′ of change for the entire loop
Trailhead Facilities: None
Short Trail Summary: This hike description is a loop.
This trail is best done as a loop with Snow Ranch C Trail, but can be done as an out and back. If done as a loop, start at the Snow Ranch parking area and ascend the ATV double track for 3-miles until the intersection with Snow Springs single track. There are nice views along the way, including a great view of Chimney Rock. If you want to make it longer, go up to the left for a little less than a mile where the trail forks and turn around. This section of trail is rarely used and is quite overgrown. For an easier route, take a right off of the Snow Ranch double track and descend 2-miles to FS Road 628. Reaching the road, take a right and travel approximately ½ a mile to the starting trailhead. The whole loop is about 800 feet of elevation change.
Alternative Route: Out and back hike, follow the directions above but continue down the road for another ½ mile to the Snow Springs trailhead located on the left side of the road.
Directions: Drive West on Hwy 160 for 11.5-miles and turn right onto Badger Road (CR 146). Drive 1.5-miles and take the left fork onto FS 628 (Snow Ranch Road). Continue another 4.5-miles to the trail head on the left side of the road.
Out and back up to the Devils Mountain trail. Great views. Lower section to ATV trail cleared, but 19 trees on trail up higher.

The creek across the start of the trail was impassable so we went in reverse (up the single track) The trail was dry until an area shortly before the intersection with the double track trail, where it was very muddy for a short distance.
We walked in about 3 miles and turned around & found no trees on the trail.
